Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Authority

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent, guardian, school, or other authorized adult must review and accept these Terms for you and supervise your use.

If you use Learnade for a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization and to provide any information or instructions submitted through the Service. Teachers who connect a Google account to create live classes must be authorized to use that account and to organize those classes.

2. The Learnade Service

Learnade provides educational content and tools that may include courses, books, practice questions, progress tracking, assignments, class and community communication, AI-assisted study, offline features, teacher tools, live classes, credits, and optional paid features.

Features may differ by platform, device, location, account role, plan, availability, or release stage. We may improve, add, limit, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary, including for safety, legal, technical, or product reasons.

3. Accounts and Security

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• Keep your password, device access, and connected accounts secure.
• Do not share or transfer an account except where Learnade expressly permits it.
• Notify Learnade through the available support channel if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.

We may require email, phone, app-integrity, purchase, teacher-role, or other verification to protect users and provide particular features.

4. Educational and AI Content

Learnade is an educational support tool. Course content, generated questions, search results, community answers, and AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, unsafe, or outdated. Always verify important information with an appropriate teacher, textbook, current source, or qualified professional.

Learnade and its AI features do not provide medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for emergencies or decisions affecting a person's rights, health, safety, or finances. Offline AI cannot access current internet information unless a feature expressly says otherwise.

You remain responsible for reviewing and lawfully using generated output, respecting academic integrity rules, and disclosing AI assistance when required by a teacher, school, examination body, or law. Learnade does not guarantee that generated material is original or free of third-party rights.

6. Your Content

You retain the rights you have in content you submit to Learnade. You grant Learnade a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical display, and share that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, security, legal-retention, and prior-sharing limitations.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the content and to allow Learnade to process it. Do not upload confidential student records, copyrighted materials, personal data, or images unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate authority.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate harmful or fraudulent conduct.
• Harass, exploit, groom, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger another person.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, or overload the Service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent teacher, school, age, or account information.
• Publish private information or intimate content without lawful authority and consent.
• Use Learnade to cheat, evade assessment rules, plagiarize, or misrepresent AI output as your own work.
• Scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service except as permitted by law.
• Bypass usage, credit, entitlement, safety, access-control, or technical restrictions.

We may remove content, limit features, suspend an account, preserve evidence, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

8. Purchases, Credits, and Paid Features

Prices, currency, taxes, credit cost, feature duration, renewal status, device or storage requirements, and other material purchase terms will be shown before confirmation. Complete a purchase only if you understand and accept the displayed terms.

• Payments may be processed by an app store or another disclosed payment provider.
• Learnade credits are a limited license to access eligible features; they are not cash or a bank account.
• Credits may not be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash unless Learnade expressly permits it or law requires it.
• Promotional and purchased credits may have different eligibility rules, which will be disclosed where relevant.
• Refunds, cancellations, renewals, and chargebacks are governed by the checkout terms, provider rules, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, cancellation, quality, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a purchase is reversed, refunded, fraudulent, or invalid, related credits or access may also be reversed to the extent permitted by law.

9. Learnade and Third-Party Rights

Learnade and its licensors own the Service, software, interface, branding, and provided content, except for user content and separately licensed materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use the Service only for its intended educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Open-source software, educational resources, model components, and other third-party materials may be governed by separate notices or licenses. Those separate terms continue to apply and are not restricted by these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may connect to or display content from Google, Firebase, app stores, payment providers, content-delivery networks, search services, AI providers, or external websites. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. Learnade is not responsible for a third-party service's independent acts, availability, or content, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Learnade at any time and permanently delete your account through the mobile app or the website's Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of a material or repeated violation, security risk, fraud, unlawful conduct, harm to another user, nonpayment, or a legal or platform requirement. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Learnade does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, permanent availability of any content or feature, specific academic results, or the accuracy of user, educational, or AI-generated content.

These disclaimers do not exclude warranties, guarantees, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learnade will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, opportunity, profit, or reputation, arising from use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law and the remedies legally available to you.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

14. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Learnade service provider and your use of the Service, without removing any mandatory consumer protection available where you live. Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact Learnade and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally, unless urgent relief or applicable law permits otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, safety practices, providers, or business operations. We will post the updated Terms, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. If a material change requires consent, we will request it before the change applies to you.
